We are excited to announce that our U9’s domestic competition will continue to be played on a Wednesday afternoon.
U9’s is be played term by term to assist with new young players being able to join competition basketball teams quickly.

Competition Dates
Our Junior Summer Competition will run during Term 1 2025.
The first game will be the 5th February 2025. The last game will be the 9th April 2025.
Days & Times
All U9’s games will be played on a Wednesday afternoon from 4.30pm to 7pm. Younger age groups will be played at the earliest timeslots where possible.
Team Regulations
Teams must have a minimum of 8 players and have a maximum of 5 representative players per team. All teams are to be constructed fairly and will be reviewed/approved by clubs & the competitions committee.
BNSW Annual Registration
All players must be registered with Basketball NSW at the time of taking the court. If you are not registered, you are not insured. The cost for this is as follows:

Working with Children Checks
All team managers and coaches of players under the age of 18 are required to supply their Working with Children Information before commencing the season. Please go to www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au for more information.
Game Fees
Each player will be required to pay game fees to play in the competition.
U9 Mixed: $90
Basketball Connect Registration Instructions: all players have to select new player (even if you previously had a GameDay profile). For players who have a GameDay profile it is important to use the same email address connected to your profile so your profile can be merged with Basketball Connect and you are not charged insurance twice.

We have a NO PAY, NO PLAY policy. ALL competition fees are due Week 2 of competition.
We are now using Basketball Connect which has a 4-week repayment plan option setup within the program where you can pay off your game fees in 4 automatic weekly instalments.
Forfeit Fees
If your team forfeits without providing CHBA 48 hours’ notice, you will be required to pay an $100 forfeit fee to re-enter the competition.
Clubs & Uniforms
All players must join a club and wear a club singlet and shorts.
Uniforms can be purchased online from Sports Clique for Narwhals, Mantas & Seahorses clubs. Barracudas uniforms can be ordered from Coast 2 Coast.
Clubs do hold some stock on hand, so please check with your club delegate before ordering a uniform.
