Summer 2027 Friday Junior Boys Competition

We are now taking nominations for the Summer 2027 Friday Junior Boys Competition!

Team Nomination Requirements

These are the standard rules that must be adhered to in order to be successfully considered for team nomination:

  • All teams must have a minimum of 7 registered players.
  • Players must all wear correct Club uniform with numbers on both sides of the playing singlet.
  • Teams must provide one person to complete bench duty each week who is not a player.


Divisions

Friday Junior Boys

  • U11B (Div 1 and Div 2)
  • U13B (Div 1 and Div 2)
  • U15B (Div 1 and Div 2)
  • U17B (Div 1 and Div 2)


Competition Durations

The Summer 2027 Junior Boys Competition will run for 18 weeks, starting Friday, October 16th 2026 (2x Grading weeks, 14x Competition Rounds, 2x Finals weeks for eligible teams).


Competition Fees

Summer 2027 Junior Boys Competition Fees (per player):
Junior Boys: $225.00+ Membership Fees (if unpaid from Summer 2026)
Players will be prompted to pay their Membership Fees at checkout if expired/unregistered. 


Membership Fees (current as of 2026)

  • Ages 12+:
    • 6-month Membership: $76.00
    • 12-month Membership: $106.00
  • Ages 8-11:
    • 6-month Membership: $56.00
    • 12-month Membership: $86.00
  • Under 8:
    • 6-month Membership: $20.00
    • 12-month Membership: $30.00

All players must be registered with Basketball NSW at the time of taking the court (which this Membership Fee entitles you to).
If you are not registered, you are not insured and will not be permitted to play.

Forfeits

Forfeits must be notified as soon as possible to the Competitions Administrator (admin@coffsharbourbasketball.com.au) and must be provided no later than 5pm the day prior to the scheduled game. Any forfeits notified after this time will be considered an “unnotified forfeit” and the forfeiting team will incur a deduction of three (3) competition points.

  • Teams may apply for an exemption to the Unnotified Forfeit deduction in extenuating circumstances (such as unforeseen illness or injury) to the Competitions Administrator, with a decision being made by the Competitions Director.

 

Finals Requirements

As per the CHBA Junior Competition Bylaws, a player must play in a minimum of 5 games for a team (including forfeit wins, but not forfeit losses) to be eligible to play in Semi-Final and Grand Final games.
