2024 Junior Winter Competitions Term 2 & 3
Competition Dates
Our Junior Winter Competition will run from April to September 2024.
The first two weeks will be grading. To be held on 1st & 3rd May and 8th & 10th May 2024.
Semi Finals on 18th and 20th September 2024
Grand Finals on 25th and 27th September 2024
Note: No games will be played during the school holidays.
Player Nomination

Registrations close at 5pm Sunday, 10 March 2024.
Days & Times
All games will be played on a Wednesday or Friday night from 4.30pm to 9pm. Younger age groups will be played at the earliest timeslots where possible.

Costs & Fees
BNSW Registration
All players must be registered with Basketball NSW at the time of taking the court. If you are not registered you are not insured. You can check your membership status and transactions by logging into www.member.basketball.net.au. The cost for this is as follows:
- $110 Seniors
- $95 Juniors 12 – 17
- $80 Juniors 8 to 11
- $20 Under 8

Working with Children Checks
All Team Managers and Coaches of players under the age of 18 are required to supply their Working with Children Information before commencing the season. Please go to www.ocg.nsw.gov.au for more information.
Game Fees
Each player will be required to pay $160 to play in the competition.
We have a NO PAY, NO PLAY policy. ALL competition fees are due Week 2 of competition.
Forfeit Fees
If your team forfeits without providing CHBA 48 hours notice, you will be required to pay an $100 forfeit fee to re-enter the competition.

Uniforms
Players need to be in full club uniform. Club reversible singlet and shorts. Shorts must not have pockets.
Team Regulations & Nominations
Teams must have a minimum of 7 players per team.
Teams can only have two 2024 division one representative players with a maximum of five representative players per team. This is an attempt to make the competition a more even playing field.
If you feel your team is unable to meet these requirements please contact your club delegate to discuss the situation.
