The Coffs Harbour Basketball Association (CHBA) has a proud tradition of developing players, coaches, referees and officials. The association has a long history of fielding competitive teams within our domestic competitions and in our junior and senior representative programs.
In the past few seasons CHBA has had successful years winning U14 National Championships Shield Division, U12 State Cup runners Up, U18W State Cup and as runners up in the Senior Waratah Leagues in both men and women’s competitions. On an individual player basis, we achieve regular player selection in NSW State teams, Australian Junior Country Basketball Cup and Country Development Program Tournaments, NSW State Performance Programs, NSW Talented Athlete Programs and North Coast Academy of Sport. In 2022 CHBA had over 25 Players selected or represent at NSW BNSW events, State and National events. We also celebrated the Opals Bronze medal team with the inclusion of a previous Coffs Harbour Junior in Kristy Wallace and also Coffs Harbour Junior Isla Jufferman’s represent Australia in the U17s and U19s.
CHBA is a not-for profit sporting organisation based in Coffs Harbour, catering for all ages from grass roots to elite levels. We are one of the largest sporting organisations in the local area with a registration base of over 900 members and many others who are actively involved as spectators or volunteers. CHBA is affiliated with both Basketball Australia and Basketball NSW.
